CoffeeMakerLab is an independent publication about the gear people use to make coffee at home. We cover drip and single-serve coffee makers, espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers, kettles, scales, and the beans and pods that go into them, and we recommend the products we believe are worth your money.

What we do

Buying a coffee maker or a grinder should not take a weekend of reading forum threads. We do that reading for you. For each category, we decide what matters most, gather the current options, compare them against the same criteria, and explain the trade-offs in plain language so you can choose with confidence.

Why “Lab”?

The name describes our approach, not a physical facility. We do not operate a lab, and we do not claim to have used the products we cover. Our recommendations come from research: published specifications, the consensus of independent expert reviewers, and patterns in verified owner ratings. How We Review explains the full method.

How we stay independent

Brands cannot pay to be featured, to earn a higher CML Score, or to change a verdict. We do not accept payment for reviews, and we do not place sponsored products inside our rankings. When the evidence changes, we change our recommendation.
