Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information CoffeeMakerLab (“we,” “us”) collects when you use coffeemakerlab.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name, email address, and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. Your email address is not published.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and our content delivery network (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies needed for the site to work, for example to remember the details you enter in the comment form. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Affiliate links and third parties
Our articles contain affiliate links to Amazon. When you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies to credit us for a resulting purchase. Product images are loaded from Amazon’s servers. Comment avatars may be loaded from Gravatar, a service that receives a coded version of the commenter’s email address. These services follow their own privacy policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.
How we use information
We use information to run and improve the site, respond to messages, moderate comments, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Published comments remain until they are removed.
Children
CoffeeMakerLab is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
